Nina Vaca participated in the Federal Communications Commission’s Office of Communications Business Opportunities in a one-day supplier diversity workshop for small, minority-owned, women-owned, and other diverse businesses in Washington D.C. on June 4, 2018.
The workshop offered entrepreneurs insights about navigating corporate supplier diversity programs and identifying successful strategies when working with these corporations.
“It’s about business and creating a better America,” Nina said. “It’s not about the color of your skin, being a man or woman. It’s about everybody having the opportunity to bring their best self to this country and then collectively grow the country to become a better America.”
