Leaders advocate for diversity and equality at Texas Lyceum Conference

Nina Vaca spoke on a panel centered around diversity and equality in business hosted by The Texas Lyceum Conference on April 27, 2018 in Dallas, TX. The panel was moderated by Alfreda Noraman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas along with Ana Meade of Toyota USA and Liji Thomas of Southwest Airlines.

The Texas Lyceum is an association intended to identify  and develop the next generation of top leadership in Texas along with promoting an appreciation of the responsibilities of stewardship of the values, traditions, and resources of Texas. The overarching topic of this specific conference was race relations in Texas and moving closer to equality and equity for all.

As an alumna of the Lyceum, Nina said, “The Lyceum holds a special place in my heart. It’s an incredible ecosystem for people who want to create impact by running for office or running organizations here in Texas.”
