Taking time for gratitude during Thanksgiving

Taking time for gratitude during Thanksgiving

As we get into the holiday season, I’m thinking more and more about gratitude.

Typically, my whirlwind schedule means I bounce from one activity to another, but as often as I can, I reflect on the things I’m thankful for. Those brief quiet moments sometimes come when I’m getting ready in the morning, after I’ve caught a plane, or as I’m cycling around White Rock Lake.

During that time, my mind always returns to the gratitude I have for the people in my life – my family, my friends, my Pinnacle team, and my mentors.

The love and guidance I’ve received from them is invaluable.

Oftentimes, I tell others to surround themselves with people who want to see them succeed. I truly mean that because I wouldn’t be where I am without the people who believed in my vision and supported me through the challenges.

These relationships are full of warmth and joy that can power me through anything.

So, if you needed a nudge to say, “Thank you” to the people who do that for you, consider this that nudge. Tell them how they’ve helped you in your journey because we could all use a little more gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving!
