Nina was recently in Robstown, TX, just outside of Corpus Christi, to give a keynote speech at the Robstown Area Development Commission 23rd Annual Banquet. Mayor Mandy Barrera presented Vaca with the “Keynote Speaker” award and a declaration that June 13, 2019 would be known as “Nina Vaca Day.”
